Features:
Primary Seal – TS-2000 Rod Seal is a popular and reliable choice,
providing comprehensive protection against leaks. Its
self-compensating and self-relieving design is able to withstand
changes in mechanical deflection that may occur during operation.
The “Jewel” Rod Gland Assembly has a long bearing surface that is
located within the cylinder, providing positive lubrication from
the inside. An O-ring is used for the seal between the gland and
head – while also acting as a prevailing torque-type lock – and as
a bonus, it is externally removable without cylinder disassembly.
The Secondary Seal, the innovative Double-Service Wiperseal™,
completely wipes clean any oil film that is adhered to the rod
during an extend stroke, and cleans the rod once again on the
return stroke,a feature that is highly valued in the industry.
Made from high-quality materials, the Piston Rod is crafted using
medium carbon steel, induction casehardened, hard chrome-plated,
and polished to a 10 RMS. This offers a range of options depending
on the size of the rod, with diameters ranging from .625" through
4.000", the larger diameters between 57,000 and 90,000 psi minimum
material and the 85,000 to 100,000 psi minimum yield for rods
2.000" diameter and smaller.
Ports also come in SAE “O” ring form as standard, however, there is
an option to choose the NPTF ports for no extra cost. For those in
need of larger sizes, there is the choice of Oversized NPTF and SAE
ports at extra charge.
For superior performance, Adjustable Floating Stepped Cushions are
both economical and flexible in even the most demanding
applications. These cushions are optional and can be placed in both
the head and cap ends without affecting the size or mounting
dimensions.
Additionally, the One-Piece Nodular Iron Piston is designed with a
wide piston surface contacting the cylinder bore that helps reduce
bearing loads. It is permanently sealed and locked using anaerobic
adhesive.
