The SMC rod less cylinder is a revolutionary product that harnesses
the power of industrial strength magnets to form a single unit that
can travel when actuated with air pressure. To reduce the product
weight, SMC has gone to great lengths to re-design the body and
head cover shapes, making use of the magnetic coupling feature.
The SMC CY series provides many benefits that make it suitable for
a wide range of application settings. As the product does not
suffer from external leakage effects, it can be used in various
environments. Besides that, these cylinders can save mounting space
and offer load capacity as well as moment capabilities via the use
of integrated guides, which are available in five different model
variations. Also, these cylinders are available in nine different
bore sizes ranging from 6mm to 63mm with a standard stroke up to
1000mm. For extra convenience, auto switches are included as as
standard feature.

Packing and Shipping:
Piston Pneumatic Cylinder packaging and shipping:
- The cylinder is wrapped with padded plastic wrap before being
placed in a corrugated cardboard box.
- The box is then sealed securely with tape.
- The box is then labeled with the correct shipping address.
- The box is then placed on a pallet for shipment.
- The pallet is then shrink-wrapped for added protection.
- The pallet is then loaded onto a truck or other shipping container.
