Product Description:

SMC's KQG2 stainless steel range offers engineers a choice of superior-performance, lightweight, and compact fittings. The fittings are 30% smaller and 62% lighter than SMC's existing KQG range, and they are available to fit tubing diameters from 3.2 to 16mm. They are ideal for operations that require resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high-temperatures.

The fittings are useful for compressed air, water, and steam operations, and they are designed to function in a broad range of pressure (from -100kPa to 1MPa) and temperature (-5°C to +150°C). The fittings are manufactured from SUS316 stainless steel, which is highest grade of stainless steel available and provides better corrosion and chemical resistance properties than 304 stainless steel. It is particularly suitable for chloride-rich environments.

Features:

This small and light weight product has a great impact on production operation: Its dimensions are about 30% shorter than KQGL06-01S and 62% lighter in weight.

Material of this product are made of Metal parts, Stainless Steel 316, seal parts, special FKM. Its tubing material is applicable to FEP, PFA, Nylon, Soft nylon, Polyurethane and Polyolefin. Also, this product has a wide range of temperature performance, from -5 to 150°C, and moreover, it is grease-free and applicable to steam.

Applicable Tubing: Metric Size, Connection Thread: M, R, RC

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.

Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately.

Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak tester, since there is leakage.

Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating temperature range of the tubing.

Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the following conditions (Except Ø3.2):
