Product Description:
SMC's KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings offer an array of
advantages to consumers. They are 30% smaller and 62% lighter than
the previous KQG range, and come with a broad tubing diameter range
from 3.2 to 16mm. Moreover, the lightweight and small design
enables them to be utilized in all kinds of applications, from
compressed air and water to steam, and their ability to remain
stable in a wide range of pressures and temperatures (-100kPa to
1MPa and -5°C to +150°C respectively) is commendable.
In addition, these fittings are made out of SUS316 stainless steel
instead of the traditional 304 grade stainless steel, which gives
them enhanced corrosion resistance. This property makes them
especially useful in chloride environment.
Features:
The SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings are of high
quality production. Manufactured from SUS316 stainless steel, these
fittings are particularly corrosion resistant, surpassing
conventional grade 304 stainless steel options. In addition, the
SUS316 stainless steel offers superior pitting and corrosion
resistant properties, making it ideal for chloride-rich
environments.
In addition to its outstanding performance, the KQG2 series is also
incredibly compact and light. In comparison to its predecessor, the
KQGL06-01S, this series of fittings is 30% shorter and 62% lighter.
Moreover, the metal parts are made of stainless steel 316, and
sealed with a specialized FKM coating, which allows them to be used
with multiple tubing materials like TEP, PFA, Nylon, soft nylon,
polyurethane and polyolefin.

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.
Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately.
Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak
tester, since there is leakage.
Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating
temperature range of the tubing.
Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the
following conditions (Except Ø3.2):
●When using at a high temperature.
●When using at a high temperature.
