Product Description:
The SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings offer consumers a
wealth of benefits. They are 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the
existing KQG range and are compatible with a wide range of tubing
diameters, from 3.2 to 16 mm.
Their lightweight and compact design mean they can be used in
multiple environments, from compressed air and water to steam. In
addition, they perform well in varying pressure and temperature
conditions, ranging from -100kPa up to 1MPa and from -5°C to +150°C
respectively.
What’s more, these fittings are made from SUS316 stainless steel
which will offer superior corrosion resistant properties to grade
304 stainless steel. This makes them particularly suitable for
chloride environments.
Features:
SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings are not only made of
durable SUS316 stainless steel, which offers better
corrosion-resistant properties than grade 304 stainless steel, but
quite compact and lightweight too.
Compared to its predecessor the KQGL06-01S, this product is 30%
shorter and 62% lighter. Equipped with metal parts made of
stainless steel 316 sealed with special FKM material, SMC KQG2
series one-touch pneumatic fittings can firmly fit with a variety
of tubing materials like TEP, PFA, Nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane,
and polyolefin.

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.
Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately.
Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak
tester, since there is leakage.
Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating
temperature range of the tubing.
Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the
following conditions (Except Ø3.2):
● When using at a high temperature.
● When using at a high temperature.
