suction path of the hydraulic pump to protect it from larger
impurities and particles. Additionally, the filter's capacity
should be double the pump's flow rate, and the pressure loss should
be less than 0.02 MPa.
(2) The outlet oil circuit of the pump is a crucial area to filter
out pollutants that could damage components like valves. The PALL
filter element must withstand the circuit's working and impact
pressure and have a pressure drop of less than 0.35 MPa. Besides, a
safety valve should be installed to prevent filter blockage.
(3) Installing the PALL filter element on the return oil line
serves as an indirect filter. Installing a back pressure valve in
parallel with the filter is recommended. The valve opens when the
filter undergoes clogging and reaches a specific pressure value.
(4) The PALL filter element must also be installed on the system
branch oil circuit to filter out impurities that may affect system
components.
(5) Large hydraulic systems should have a dedicated hydraulic pump
and fine oil filter to form an independent filtration circuit, in
addition to the required oil filter for the entire system. It is
also essential to have a dedicated fine oil filter in front of
critical components like servo valves and precision throttle valves
to ensure their normal operation in the PALL filter hydraulic
system.
